Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Rolex GMT-Master II Batman for a while now. I mean, who hasn’t, right? Those things are almost impossible to find at the authorized dealers, just like those articles online said. But I wasn’t about to give up that easily.
First, I tried my luck at the official Rolex stores. I walked into a few, talked to the sales associates, and put my name on the waiting lists. It was a long shot, I knew, but hey, you never know. I even saw a catalog, and yeah, the Batman was not there. Maybe it was discontinued, I don’t know. The waiting lists were crazy long, though. And I heard many people say that it is a good investment. I believe this is due to its high quality and precision.
While I was waiting, I started looking into alternatives. I found this Timex Allied Three GMT watch. It’s supposed to be a good alternative to the Rolex Batman. The price is much more affordable for sure. I even read some reviews about it on a big online shop, you know the one that sells everything. They were mostly positive, but it just wasn’t the same, you know?

I mean, it’s probably the best modern Rolex you can buy, at least that is what people on the internet said.
