Today, I’m gonna show you guys this Fendi Mon Tresor Mini Leather & Mesh Bucket Bag I’ve been working on. It’s a copy, but I’m aiming for that original order quality, you know?

So, first off, I spent a good chunk of time digging around online, checking out all the details of the real deal. I looked at pictures, read descriptions, the whole nine yards. I really wanted to nail down what makes this bag special, like the materials, the size, the way it’s put together.

After that, I started sourcing the materials. This was a bit tricky. I needed to find that specific brown calfskin they use, and it had to be the right texture and thickness. Then there’s the FF motif, which is embossed and hand-painted. I experimented with a few different techniques to get that right. And don’t even get me started on the gold-finish metalware! I went through a few suppliers before I found one that had the quality I was looking for.

  • Tried a bunch of different leathers.
  • Figured out the embossing and hand-painting.
  • Searched high and low for the right metalware.

Once I had all the pieces, I started putting the bag together. Sewed the leather, attached the mesh, added the drawstring. It was a lot of trial and error, I’m not gonna lie. There were times I wanted to throw the whole thing across the room! But I kept at it, adjusting and tweaking until it started to look like the real Fendi bag.

The Result

Finally, after all that work, I ended up with a bag that I’m pretty darn proud of. It’s got that same adjustable and removable crossbody strap, the removable top handle, and that open top with the drawstring. It’s the right size, and it feels really well-made. It really captures the look and the spacious main compartment for storing all of your essentials of the original Fendi Mon Tresor Mini, if I do say so myself.

It’s not perfect, of course. There are always little things you can improve. But for a copy, I think it’s pretty darn close to the original. It definitely took some time and effort, but in the end, I think it was worth it. What do you guys think?
