Alright, so ya wanna know about this Audemars Piguet Vampire watch, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s a fancy thing, like them shiny cars rich folks drive. Don’t know why they call it “Vampire” though, ain’t nothin’ spooky about it, just a watch. But folks say it’s good, real good.
This watch, see, it’s made by some company, Audemars Piguet. Long name, ain’t it? They been around a long time, longer than me for sure. Started by two fellas, friends since they were kids, they say. Guess they knew how to make watches.
Now, this Vampire watch, it’s big, 42mm they say. Don’t know what that means, but it’s big on your wrist. Made of steel, like them pots I cook in. Strong stuff, steel is. And it’s got a strap, black like coal, made of some fancy leather, alligator I think. With red stitching, like fancy embroidery.
The face, or dial they call it, is black too. Got all these little squares on it, they call it “tapisserie”. Sounds French, eh? Fancy stuff. And it’s got these other things, like a clock inside a clock, for timing things, they say. Chronograph, that’s what they call it.

People say this watch is real good, made with care. Better than some other watches, like that Rolex thing. But they cost a lot, these watches. More than I make in a year, maybe two. They say it’s ’cause the economy’s bad, everything costs more these days. Don’t know about that, just know my eggs are pricier now.
You can find these watches online, they say. On something called “Chrono24”, whatever that is. And they come in boxes, fancy boxes, not like the shoebox I keep my stuff in. And papers too, to show it’s real, not some fake thing.
Some folks say this Vampire watch was made in 2017, some say 2019. Guess they made it for a few years. Don’t matter much to me, a watch is a watch. But these rich folks, they care about them years. Like wine, they say, older is better.
So, if ya got the money, and ya want a fancy watch, this Vampire thing might be for you. Just remember, it’s a watch, tells time. Like the old clock on my wall, only shinier and cost a whole lot more. But hey, if it makes ya happy, who am I to judge?
That’s all I know ’bout this Vampire watch. Fancy name, fancy watch, fancy price. Maybe someday I’ll win the lottery and get myself one. Or maybe I’ll just stick with my old clock. Works just fine for me.
