Well, well, well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these fancy watches, the ones with the long, hard-to-pronounce names, like that “Audemars Piguet” thingy.
So, you wanna know about payin’ for ’em, huh? And where to find ’em, and how much they cost in different places? Let me see if I can make some sense of it all for ya, in plain ol’ talk, none of that fancy gibberish.
First off, where do you even go to get one of these watches? I hear tell there’s a place in Hong Kong, somethin’ called “Audemars Piguet (HK) Ltd” at “25 Canton Road Suite 1107, Tower 2, The Gateway.” Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? But that’s where they got ’em, apparently. And if you’re in Singapore, they got a store too, “Audemars Piguet” at “B2M-207, The Shoppes, 10 Bayfront Ave.” See, they’re all over the place, these fancy watch folks.
Now, about payin’ for these things. I heard somethin’ about “Zip” lettin’ you pay in installments, like four payments over six weeks. Guess that’s good if you ain’t got all the cash upfront. ‘Cause let me tell ya, these watches ain’t cheap.
How much do they cost? Well, that’s a whole other story. Seems like the prices keep changin’. They just upped the prices again, I heard. And it depends on where you buy ’em too. Hong Kong prices, Singapore prices, they’re all different. And then there’s these “exclusive timepieces” – those are even pricier, I reckon.
- One watch, the “Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin” in Singapore, costs a whopping $101,800! Can you believe that? For a watch! What’s it made of, gold and diamonds?
They say Switzerland is where all these fancy watches come from, places like “Rolex” and “Patek Philippe,” besides that “Audemars Piguet” one. Swiss watches, they call ’em. Supposed to be the best, the most precise, the most prestigious. Well, I guess that explains the price!
Now, if you’re wonderin’ if “Rolex” or “Audemars Piguet” is more expensive, it’s that “AP” one, hands down. “Rolex” is cheaper, they say, more of a starter watch if you’re into that kinda thing. “AP” is for the big spenders, I guess.
Oh, and somethin’ else I heard. Seems like people ain’t linin’ up to buy these watches like they used to. Even the fancy ones, the “Royal Oak” with the steel, people ain’t waitin’ months for ’em anymore. Just a few weeks, they say. Guess folks are tightenin’ their belts these days, huh?
Anyway, that’s all I know about these “Audemars Piguet” watches. Fancy names, fancy prices, fancy places to buy ’em. If you got the money, go for it. Me? I’ll stick to my ol’ reliable clock on the wall. It tells the time just fine, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg!
