Alright, listen up. You wanna know about them Audemars Piguet watches, huh? Fancy stuff, real fancy. Folks say they cost a pretty penny, and they ain’t lyin’. - They got one they call Black Panther. Sounds like a cat, don’t it? But it ain’t no cat, it’s a watch! They only made 250 of them, so I guess they special. Probably cost a whole farm, I reckon.
- Then there’s this Royal Oak, sounds like a tree, but it’s another watch. They got one with a dial, whatever that means. And one that’s 37mm, sounds small, but they say it’s thick too, 9.1mm. All them numbers make my head spin.
People talkin’ about which is better, this Audemars Piguet or that Rolex. Like they know somethin’. They say AP is made real good, like with hands and stuff, not just machines. But Rolex, they tough, they last long. I say, if it tells the time, it’s good enough for me.
They say the average price for one of them watches is 50,000 dollars. Can you imagine? That’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life! But some, they cheaper, like 4,000 dollars. Still a lot, but not as crazy as 50,000. And some, they even more than 100,000 dollars! I don’t know who buys these things, must be rich folk with nothin’ better to do with their money.
This year, they celebratin’ 30 years of somethin’ called Royal Oak Offshore. They been makin’ it since 1993. That’s like yesterday, ain’t it? Time flies, just like them fancy watches tickin’ away.
