Oh, you wanna know about this Audemars Piguet thing, right? Well, I heard it’s some fancy watch company. Folks say it’s from Switzerland, wherever that is. Fancy place, I reckon. They been makin’ watches since forever ago, 1875 or somethin’. Two fellas started it, Audemars and Piguet, strange names if you ask me.
Now, they make these real expensive watches. Real shiny, lots of little bits and bobs in ’em. They call ’em “luxury” watches. Means they cost a pretty penny. More money than I’ve seen in my whole life, probably. Some are gold, some are silver, some have diamonds, I think. All sorts of fancy things.
- Royal Oak – This one, people talk about it a lot. Big, kinda chunky lookin’ thing. But fancy, real fancy.
- Code 11.59 – Never seen it, but heard it’s another one of theirs. Probably just as shiny.
- Offshore – This one sounds like it’s for folks who go on boats. Big and waterproof, maybe? Don’t know for sure.
They keep makin’ new ones, too. Every year, somethin’ different. Heard they made one called “[RE]Master02” not too long ago. Sand gold, they call it. Probably pretty, if you like that kinda thing. I prefer my old watch, keeps time just fine.
Now, about this “email format” you mentioned. Don’t know much about that internet stuff. But I heard you need to send emails to these companies, right? Well, they probably got a special way they like it. Like how we gotta put the address just right on a letter, otherwise it don’t get delivered. Same thing, I guess.
I heard some places, they like you to put the first name and then the last name, with a dot in between, before the “@” symbol. And then after that, it’s the company’s name or somethin’. Like “*@*”. Something like that, maybe. But I ain’t sure. Every company’s different, I reckon. Might be “JSmith@*” too. Or “*@*”. Who knows?
And then there’s this “fr” thing. France, I guess. They got a branch there or somethin’. So maybe it’s “*@*”. Confusin’ stuff, all this internet business.
You know, this company, Audemars Piguet, they got a museum, too. In Switzerland, I think. Fancy place, I bet. They show off all their fancy watches there. And they even got classes for kids! Teachin’ ’em about watches. Imagine that! When I was a kid, we were too busy helpin’ on the farm to learn about fancy watches.
They always talkin’ about “pushin’ boundaries” and “innovation” and all that. Means they’re always tryin’ to make their watches better, I guess. More complicated, more shiny. Just like those newfangled cars, always addin’ more gadgets and buttons. Goodness gracious, don’t know how folks keep up.
Anyway, that’s all I know about this Audemars Piguet. Fancy watches, expensive, from Switzerland. And if you wanna send ’em an email, well, good luck figurin’ out that “email format” thing. Maybe you can just call ’em up? That’s what I’d do. Good old-fashioned phone call. But then again, I’m just an old lady, what do I know?
