Ya know, this Travis Scott and that uh, Audemars Piguet watch, the one they made together? People keep askin’ about the price. Like, how much it costs to get your hands on one of them fancy time tellers. Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t cheap. Not like buyin’ a dozen eggs at the store, that’s for sure.
First off, it’s a special watch, see? Not the kind you find just anywhere. They call it a “Royal Oak,” sounds fancy, right? And it’s got this “Cactus Jack” name on it too, that’s somethin’ to do with Travis Scott, I reckon. And it’s made outta this brown stuff, they call it “ceramic,” says it’s real tough and all. But that ain’t what makes it cost so much, I don’t think.
They say they only made a couple hundred of these watches. Just 200! Can ya believe it? When there ain’t many of somethin’, folks start wantin’ it more, and they’re willin’ to pay a pretty penny. That’s how it goes, supply and demand, they call it.
- Now, they say the price is somethin’ like 201,000 dollars. Yeah, you heard that right. Two hundred and one THOUSAND dollars. That’s more money than most folks see in a lifetime, I bet.
- And that ain’t even in our money, it’s in them “USD” dollars. American money, ya know. Makes it sound even fancier, don’t it?
Some folks say you can find these watches for cheaper on some website called “Chrono24.” But I dunno, sounds fishy to me. Buyin’ somethin’ that expensive online? I’d rather see it with my own two eyes before handin’ over that kinda cash.
They compare this Audemars Piguet to another fancy watch brand, “Rolex.” Ever heard of it? Well, they say this Travis Scott watch is even more expensive than a Rolex. So you know it’s gotta be somethin’ special, right? If it costs more than a Rolex, it’s gotta be good.
This watch, it ain’t just for tellin’ time, I tell ya. It’s got all sorts of gears and whatnots inside, you can see ’em workin’. They call it “openworked.” Fancy, huh? And it’s got somethin’ called a “perpetual calendar,” means it tells ya the date and all without havin’ to set it all the time. Lazy man’s watch, I say!
So, if you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ one of these Travis Scott Audemars Piguet watches, you better start savin’ your pennies. Or maybe win the lottery. Cause it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. But hey, if you got the money, go for it. It’s a fancy watch, no doubt about it. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if you lose it or break it, cause I ain’t got that kinda money to help ya out!
In the end, it’s just a watch, right? Tells the time like any other watch. But I guess if you wanna show off and have somethin’ special, then maybe it’s worth it. To each their own, I always say.
