You know, that fancy watch, Audemars Piguet, the one them rich folks talk about. I heard people say you can pay for it every month, like rent. Like them fellas on Reddit, yeah, the Kong Reddit, they say you can do that.
Now, I ain’t got one of them watches. Heck, I ain’t even sure how to say the name right. But I hear tell, it’s a real nice thing to have. Shows you got money, or at least, you paying for something real expensive.
One fella on that Reddit, he went to the store, you know, where they sell them watches. Said the store was packed, every day! Can you believe that? People lining up to spend all that money on a watch. He said you gotta pay extra if you buy from them other sellers, not the store itself. Or, get this, he said you gotta send your wife first to make the store guy happy. Now ain’t that somethin’? Don’t know what that means, but it sure sounds fishy.
Then there’s the money talk. They say folks working at that Audemars place, they get paid good. Like, 18 dollars an hour just to greet people, and 43 dollars to sell them watches. And that’s just per hour! Some folks make 86,000 dollars a year working there. That’s a lot of money, more than I ever seen in my life. But then again, them watches cost a fortune, so I guess they gotta pay their workers good.

There’s this other place, A Collected Man, they sell them fancy watches too. Real rare ones, for rich folks with lots of money. I ain’t never gonna shop there, that’s for sure.
Then there’s the talk about checking if the watch is real, you know, not a fake. Seems like Rolex, another fancy watch, they used to check for you. But not no more. Don’t know about Audemars, if they check or not. But if you gonna spend all that money, you better make sure it’s real.
Another fella, he was talking about a watch called Code 11.59, different from the one everyone wants. He wanted the Royal Oak one, gray or black. Guess there’s lots of different kinds of them fancy watches.
If you look on Google, try to find where to buy a Rolex in Hong Kong, you won’t find much. No real guide, just bits and pieces. Guess it’s the same for Audemars. You gotta know someone, or be real lucky, to get one of them watches.
They don’t make many of them watches, that’s why they cost so much. Everyone wants one, but there ain’t enough to go around. So, if you work at Audemars, you get paid good, and if you sell them watches, you make lots of money. But for us regular folks, just paying for one every month, that’s a big deal. And finding one in the store, well, that’s like winning the lottery.
So, that’s what I heard about them Audemars Piguet watches. Fancy things, cost a lot, but if you can get one, you must be doin’ alright. Just remember, payin’ monthly might sound easy, but you gotta keep up them payments. Don’t wanna lose that fancy watch you worked so hard to get.
