In fact, it’s said that a designer named Gerald Genta came up with the idea for this watch on a napkin, just doodling away while he was at a fancy show in Basel, Switzerland. They’ve been around a long time, and it seems like they ain’t going nowhere. In fact, folks from all over the world, even in China, know about Audemars Piguet now. In China, they call it AP for short, because saying “Audemars Piguet” is a bit much for folks there. But no matter where you are in the world, if you see that AP on a watch, you know it’s something special.
