So, I’ve been eyeing this OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M for a while now. You know, the one they call a “dive watch.” I mean, I’m not a diver, but the watch just looks so darn cool. I did some digging around online, and it seems like a lot of folks are talking about it.
First, I started looking up if this watch was any good as an investment, like could I make money off of it later? There were some forum posts and articles, but it wasn’t super clear. But hey, I figured, even if it’s not some gold mine, I still liked the look of it, so I kept going.
Then, I started reading about what the watch is actually like. There was this one post talking about how it’s good for “deep-blue diving,” which, again, I don’t do, but it sounded cool. It got me thinking, this watch is more than just a pretty face; it’s got some serious features, too.
I saw a bunch of different sizes mentioned, like 45.5mm, 39.5mm, and even 37.5mm. My wrists are kinda small, so I thought the 37.5mm one might be good. But then I also saw 43.5mm mentioned, and I was a little worried it was going to be too tiny. There was this one guy online saying he got the 37.5mm for his smaller wrists, so that made me feel a bit better.
Sizing it Up
Here is what I found out about sizes.
- 45.5mm: This one is the biggest of the bunch. Probably good if you got big wrists or just like a big watch.
- 43.5mm: A middle ground size, it seems. Not too big, not too small.
- 39.5mm: On the smaller side. Still a decent size, though.
- 37.5mm: The smallest one I came across. Good for us folks with smaller wrists, maybe?
After looking around and comparing, I figured maybe the 43.5mm could work. I pulled the trigger and ordered one. I mean, who needs to dive to 600 meters, anyway? I just wanted a good-looking, solid watch.
When the watch arrived, man, it was something else. It felt solid, looked sharp, and fit my wrist just right. After wearing it for a few days, I decided that I am happy with it, and it was worth it. And yeah, I may not be a diver, but I sure do feel like one wearing this OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M!
