This here Jaeger-LeCoultre, they call it, what was it? Reverso Tribute Chronograph. Fancy name, right? Just a watch, but oh boy, it’s somethin’ else. My grandson, he’s always on about these things. Says it’s a big deal. Original order, he kept sayin’.
This watch, it flips! You can wear it two ways. One side, it’s plain, just tells the time. Other side, it’s got all these little dials. My eyes ain’t what they used to be, but even I can see it’s somethin’ special. Looks complicated, all them little hands movin’. For showin’ off, I reckon. Me, I’m happy with my old watch. It tells the time, that’s all I need. Don’t need no fancy dials or flippin’ around. But this Jaeger-LeCoultre, it’s somethin’ else. For them that appreciate the finer things, I suppose. And got the money to pay for ’em.
You know, this watch, they say it is for mature people. Mature enough to wear a Reverso. What’s that mean, I do not know, but my grandson keep saying this. He also says this watch can go with denim, sneakers, and even a polo shirt. Well, it is a sports watch after all. But it was made in 1931, so it looks like an old-fashioned gentleman’s watch.
